Spring Migration Festival - Yackandandah
Have you ever heard of Gay and Lesbian festival? If not, its time you
pay a visit at Spring Migration festival. Held in Yackandandah during
the first week of September, this festival is open to all people
regardless of sexuality. Therefore, if you want to spend your weekend in
fun and frivolity in beautiful Yackandandah, a visit to this exceptional
event is must.

Tibetan Monks will be at the Yack Tourist Information Centre.
Meditation from 10.00am - 10.30am. View the progress of the Sand Mandala
Creation.
ART SHOW: Our first Art Show. Local artists will be displaying their
works in the Yack Tourist Information Centre.
This year's featured Artists are: Peter Caddy - Cliff Bennett - Mark
Selkrig (Sculptor) (Famous for their creations) Some available for
purchase. Saturday at Noon:
MAGICAL WINERY TOUR $10.00 (book in advance) take the Cave and
Tunnell Tour or go for a Horse Ride or visit many of the other
Yackandandah attractions. Or just settle in for all day breakfast at a
cafe, bakery or hotel for a lazy day. Saturday Night Dance Party
DRESS UP AS COWBOY OR COWGIRL. 7pm FOR DINNER:
Venue: Yack Hall Presented by “Sebastian” our Giant Chef (served in
the Yack Hall.

Sharp for Dance Party
We want everyone here at 8.00pm sharp to share this History Making
experience. The Mayor of the Indigo Shire will open the festival and
welcome all our visitors to the region. then the Monks will bless the
festival with dance in their traditional and fantastic costumes and
chant for world peace, with two D.JS and six full production shows with
special guests (to be announced)
Midnight back to the Star Hotel untill 1.00am then on to Java Cafe till
the wee hours for snacks and coffee.
The migration bus will be here to ferry you round at $10.00 a head to

From 9.30 am. The now famous WHO'SE YER DADDY FATHERS DAY MARKET AT
THE YACK HALL. The Tibetan Monks will be selling their handicrafts
before they return to their country. Get to know them and if you visit
Nepal or India they can show you around. The market will be full of
homemade goodies with heaps of stalls as in previous years.

Sunday morning recovery with a difference!
Come along and re-invigorate yourself with this Ancient Chinese form of
excersise that uses slow gentle breathing and movement
to enhance well being and revitalise your life. The workshop will
stimulate your senses and give you energy for the rest of the day.
Local instructor Jay McGough will lead you through this easy to follow,
